Join us for the 11th Annual Rockin’ Recovery Day, a celebration of resilience and recovery from addiction. The event will be held Saturday, September 7th from 11:30 AM-3:00PM at the CLE Coliseum Building.

September marks International Recovery Month, a time when communities worldwide acknowledge the hope and reality of recovery, highlighting the many pathways to wellness.

Recovery Day is organized locally by a coalition of community organizations and led by the Drug Awareness Committee, Thunder Bay District Health Unit, and the Thunder Bay Drug Strategy. Our goal is to build awareness, challenge stigma surrounding addiction and celebrate the role that recovery plays in every community member’s life.

The Thunder Bay Drug Awareness Committee is inviting everyone to come together to create a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers individuals on their recovery journey. This unforgettable gathering will showcase inspiring recovery stories, live entertainment by MC Brent Edwards “Mooselegs” and Juno-nominated folk singer Craig Cardiff, along with family-friendly activities, food vendors, and recovery-supportive organizations.

Quote by Drug Awareness Committee:

"Join us on September 7 for an empowering Rockin’ Recovery event as we celebrate the strength of our community and raise awareness about recovery. This inspiring day will challenge stigma, honour recovery journeys, and unite us all in a shared commitment to healing and support."
