July 29, 2016 - The traffic signals at the intersection of James Street and Redwood Avenue will be rebuilt over the next five weeks, with work commencing on Tuesday, Aug. 2.

The existing traffic signals will be replaced with temporary all-way stop signs during the construction period. Traffic lanes will be reduced to one through lane in each direction until the new signals are operational.

During the initial construction, there will be three non-consecutive periods during which one of the approach directions to the intersection will be closed and area traffic will be fully rerouted. Each of these closures is expected to last for a full day.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and obey all regulatory and construction signs posted.
