Curbside waste collection dates, city-wide, will change next week due to Good Friday.
Garbage and recycling collection will move one day earlier next week, starting on April 15, for all residents. There will be no collection on Good Friday.
The following are the Easter holiday waste collection changes:

Residents can receive waste and recycling collection reminders by phone, email or text message by signing up to the City’s ReCollect service at: thunderbay.ca/recollect
In addition to the waste collection changes, the City of Thunder Bay’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility and the recycling depots will be operating on holiday hours, as follows:
Good Friday, April 19 | Closed |
Saturday, April 20 | 8 am – 4:30 pm |
Sunday, April 21 | Closed |
Monday, April 22 | Closed |
Regular hours begin on Tuesday, April 23.
