A section of Water Street North will be closed to traffic in both directions between Red River Road and Van Norman Street beginning on Monday, July 19, for installation of the Marina Park overpass. The road closure is expected to last approximately three weeks.

During the period of the road closure, the overpass will be hoisted into place in three sections, glass installed on two sections, and concrete decks poured.

Some work will remain to be completed after Water Street North reopens. Motorists are asked to drive with caution in the area of the construction, observe detour signage, and be mindful of workers near the roadway.
