Beginning Tuesday May 21, travelers will experience some delays and closures as work proceeds at the Memorial Avenue and Harbour Expressway intersection.

Partial lane closures will be in place at the intersection for several weeks. The work is scheduled for completion in late June, dependent on weather and other construction factors.

Work requiring the full closure of the intersection will happen in the evening and overnight hours to minimize disruption to the public. Full closures of the intersection are scheduled between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. from May 28-June 3 and June 25-26.

The work includes rebuilding the existing traffic signals and associated underground infrastructure, which have reached end of life, and repaving the intersection.
