Cross-country skiing is a form of skiing which consists on traveling on a snow-covered surface by using skis and poles. This is the oldest type of skiing, which has its origins in Nordic countries. Cross country skiing involves two techniques: Classic and Skate (or Free Technique).

Lappe Nordic Ski Centre will host Cross-Country and Para Nordic Skiing as part of the Ontario Winter Games. Concessions and washroom facilities are on-site. The venue has a parking lot, but carpooling is recommended.  Shuttle busses may be available. Please check back prior to the event.
