Brian Hamilton was elected in 2018 on a platform of fairness, economic growth and community engagement. He is a dedicated advocate for those enduring homelessness and an active volunteer of street level outreach programs. Hamilton has owned several businesses in the north McKellar Ward and as president of the Bay & Algoma Business Association founded the annual Buskers Festival in 2012. Throughout 2019 Hamilton helped lead youth field trips that took inner city youth to parks, rivers and festivals around Thunder Bay.
